It is no secret in my family that we love two things— Tequila and Dr Pepper. Both of those obsessions can be traced back to my father, who in fact, mixes those things with great regularity. So, when I saw the recipe for cherry coke Italian margaritas from Jenna @butternutbakery, I knew it was something I wanted to try with Dr Pepper.
When I make this, I literally just use her proportions and replace the Coke Zero she uses with normal Dr. Pepper, but you could also scale this up for a party or gathering. Also, the frozen cherries help keep your drink extra cold without adding a ton of ice. This is a delicious drink that allows you to enjoy something easy and refreshing, and because it is not shaken, you can even build it in your glass if you are using something flat-bottomed.
